These are made from real leather and the quality of the leather on the reproduction is actually much better than the originals we have in stock. We have some original examples that have leather so thin that you could use the pouch as a chamois for drying your car after washing. These are a great item for the Russian WW2 reenactor. The new production includes the extra strap that keeps the magazines from falling out. These pouches were actually used by both soldiers with SVT 40 and MN 91/30 rifles. These are maker marked and dated 1941. It is displayed above in combination with our Reproduction SVT40 canvas spare ammo pouch (RRFG-0031), which is sold separately. The price listed is for one (1) pouch, but if you buy two of these leather pouches (IN THE SAME ORDER) you will get 4.00 off the list price or 36.00 for one pair.
