This is a little known piece of Russian WW2 field gear that is pictured in all the reference books but the expensive originals are rarely offered for sale. We are the first to make reproductions of these (or at least the first to make them and sell them as reproductions, fakes are currently being made to deceive collectors, but the dealer’s price on these is currently much more expensive than the retail price on our reproductions) These were patterned off an original and are 100% identical to the real thing. The canvas colors may be vary slightly from piece to piece and within the same article, this is 100% correct and was done on purpose! They are maker marked and dated 1941. They are a must for the serious Russian WW2 reenactor or living historian and a nice alternative for the Russian WW2 collector instead of paying a high price for what might be an original.
