Product Code: GOFG-00060 Price: Check Latest This is a FANTASTIC latewar German WW2 Medical tornister pack. It is a beautiful example of latewar German field gear and its complete with the contents! This pack is made from undyed tan canvas (usually they were made with dyed green canvas). You can see the red lines in the canvas denoting the end of the roll (you see this sometimes also on late war Mp44 pouches, etc. The bag has natural tan leather shoulder straps that have also never been dyed. I believe this pack to be unissued and its in fantastic shape. This pack may have had some light storage wear or display wear but it does not appear to have ever actually been used! The pack is dated 1944 and it has the internal mess kit bag as well. The leather straps are very good and not bag (there is some stiffness but nothing bag at all). The red cross circle has been removed from the back of the pack. This pack is full with the original contents and special medical dividers that were specifically manufactured for this pack. All of contents which have date markings show a 1944 manufacture date. The fur on the backflap has a few small areas of damage where the fur has come out or pulled loose. This is not bad however and it really doesnt detract from this beautiful pack. This is a very desireable and rare pack and would be a nice addition to even the most advanced German field gear collections.
