This is a set of two bound editions of the Hamburg Illustrated weekly magazine for the year 1919 and 1920. This Set is a very important set for the German WW1 or WW2 historian as it deals with the aftermath and rebellions in Germany after the 1st World War and the seeds of the 2nd World War. It covers both domestic and foreign topics and includes articles on the Chaos that was these years for the world including the events in Russia and Ireland as well as other European nations. It is full of rare photographs that I would imagine have not been published since this time period. This is a must for the serious WW1 and WW2 historian and is virtually irreplaceable.
