It has several pictures, as well as drawings. It details the overall broad overviews of the battle along with stories about small unit engagements and battles. It seems to focus a great deal on the Pionere forces and their invasion of the baltic port cities and islands, etc. Its in great shape and comes with a map of the Baltics on the back. The binding is coming a little loose but all the pages are present.
