Original Russian WW2 gasmask carry bag. The straps have been removed and loops were added so this could be carried with a strap with hooks or loops (like a German Breadbag strap) The internal dividers were also removed. This appears to be some field modifcation for carry of other equipment (possibly engineer use?). The bag is in good condition otherwise and the leather closure tab is strong and intact.
