This is an original Russian manual for the RP-46 Light Machinegun. The RP-46 is a belt fed light machine gun which is a improved modification of the DP28 light machinegun of WW2. It took 50 round belts and could still be used with the 47 round pan magazine as the DP28. It saw front line service by the Russian Army until the 1960s and was exported to Soviet friendly countries such as China where it was known as the Type 58 Machinegun and was also exported and was used (and is still used today) by the Army in Vietnam. This is the Original 1949 printing of this manual, It is not a modern reprint, nor a photocopy. It has many illustrations and has two fold out schematics of the gun. It measures 9 x 6" and has 92 pages. Its in fantastic shape and is not missing any pages, no tears, etc. This is a fantastic item for the Vietnam War collector or Russian firearms enthusiast.
