Gebirgsjäger Manual
Extremely Rare Original German WW2 Gebirgsjäger pack frame for carrying the Gebirgsjäger infantry gun dissembled in mountain operations, etc. This pack frame is from a private collection of field equipment that I purchased over 3 years ago and I have just recently positively identified it. Its in great shape with most of the original tan paint intact. The leather padding is still intact and its in good shape. This one has no shoulder straps but these could be added if you desire. This is a VERY RARE piece of German WW2 Gebirgsjäger equipment and would be a fantastic addition to any German WW2 Gebirgsjäger collection or display. I could find NO makers marks or other markings on the frame but that doesnt mean they are not there, I didnt go over it with a microcope... See the second picture above for a scan from a German WW2 Gebirgsjäger manual with pictures of this frame pack being used to carry the dissambled cannon.
